I recently had the opportunity to visit the Bank Negara Malaysia Museum in Kuala Lumpur. The museum is located in the Sasana Kijang building, which is a beautiful example of modern Malaysian architecture. The museum is free to enter and is open from Tuesday to Sunday.
The museum has six permanent galleries:
The Children's Gallery
The Bank Negara Malaysia Gallery
The Economics Gallery
The Islamic Finance Gallery
The Numismatics Gallery
The Art Gallery

I spent most of my time in the Numismatics Gallery, which is home to a fascinating collection of coins and banknotes from around the world. I was particularly interested in the early Malaysian coins, which were made from copper, silver, and gold. I also learned about the history of the Malaysian currency, the ringgit.

The other galleries were also very interesting. The Economics Gallery had exhibits on the history of the Malaysian economy, and the Islamic Finance Gallery had exhibits on the principles of Islamic finance.

The Children's Gallery was a great place for kids to learn about money and the economy.
Overall, I had a great time at the Bank Negara Malaysia Museum. I learned a lot about the history of money and the economy, and I saw some amazing artifacts. I would definitely recommend visiting the museum if you are interested in these topics.
Here are some additional tips for visiting the museum:
Allow at least 2-3 hours to see all of the galleries.
Wear comfortable shoes, as you will be doing a lot of walking.
Bring a camera to capture your memories.
There is a small cafe in the museum, but you may want to bring your own snacks and drinks.
I hope you enjoy your visit to the Bank Negara Malaysia Museum!
